Kate Middleton Shows How to Transition from Winter to Spring in Ralph Lauren Pleated Knit Dress for Leicester Outing

Kate Middleton favored knitted attire in a pleated cream Ralph Lauren dress for her latest outing on Thursday in Leicester, England. The Princess of Wales curated a mostly cream-colored ensemble, with a wool ribbed knit midi dress in a soft shade. The silhouette of the frock included long sleeves and a cinched waist for added definition. By contrast, the skirt of the dress flowed with movement, with added pleats providing an elegant, classic design element. Kate Middleton Getty Images Atop her Ralph Lauren dress, Middleton wore a bespoke coat courtesy of Chris Kerr. The Princess of Wales has worn several coats by the London-based tailor in the past, including for a January outing in Scotland with Prince William. Tailored to Middleton’s frame, the coat featured such elements as sharp lapels and hip pockets. Touches of color were added to Middleton’s attire with her Sezane earrings in blue and gold brass, along with her suede brown Gianvito Rossi pointed toe pumps. The royal also boasted...

Caitriona Balfe Bids Farewell to ‘Outlander’ as She Takes On New Characters

The final season of “Outlander” hasn’t premiered yet, but Caitriona Balfe has already said her goodbye. “We sort of said our goodbyes a year and a half ago, and now this is the final goodbye,” says the Irish actress a few weeks before the release of the show’s eighth season, which wrapped filming in fall of 2024. “I think the fans are ready to see it, and I think we’re ready for them to see it as well.” The actress was recently in New York on a “whirlwind” press trip in January, before returning to the city this week for the red carpet premiere and main press push for the series finale. While Balfe is used to the long breaks between each release — each season takes almost a year to film — this final pause has taken place in a different liminal space. Balfe and her costars won’t be returning to set and their characters.   “In some ways, it sort of feels like we had this really long hiatus, and now we’re back together,” says Balfe. “Even though a lot of us have seen each other o...

The “Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga” star wore a champagne-toned custom midi dress from the French luxury fashion house. Designed with a soft V-shaped neckline, the dress evoked 1950s glamour. Anya Taylor-Joy Swan Gallet Fabric was slightly gathered at the hip for added definition and movement for the frock. Taylor-Joy added a pair of Dior bow-heeled slingback sandals to complete her attire. Accessories were minimal, while the actress’ glam included her blond hair styled with a side part and makeup highlights including bold brows and a pop of color with a red lip. With Saverne, Chef Gabriel Kreuther Is Returning to His Culinary Roots

Gabriel Kreuther is feeling fired up about his new restaurant. Saverne marks the follow-up to the chef’s eponymous two Michelin-starred restaurant, located across from Bryant Park, which just celebrated its 10th anniversary. The invitation to open a new dining concept within The Spiral, a distinctive office building in Hudson Yards, aligned well with Kreuther’s desire to “do something different” while returning to the basis of cooking: fire.  “I always had in the back of my mind to do something with an open fire concept,” Kreuther says. Everything at Saverne revolves around the open kitchen, and the proximity to open flame is both a source of entertainment for diners and an invitation for internal reflection. “In a city where everybody goes 70 miles an hour, it makes you pause and think,” the chef says. “You forget a little bit what’s going on, what happened to your day, and you wander a little bit with your spirit as well.” Dishes from the Saverne menu. With ‘In the Guts of the Living,’ Elizabeth Neel Translates the Language of History Into the Art of the Present

Like many of us, Elizabeth Neel has been confronting a “crisis of faith.” “What are we doing, and why are we doing it?” she asks.  For Neel, that question — and her ongoing movement toward an answer — is reflected through painting. Her newest exhibition of work, “In the Guts of the Living,” offers an exploration of how information is transferred and transformed. The show is on view through early April at Jack Shainman Gallery’s New York flagship. And what better place to think about the ways in which interiority shifts over time than within a former bank? Unlike the white cube spaces of many galleries, Jack Shainman’s Lafayette Street location occupies a former Beaux-Arts bank hall within the historic Clock Tower building. The main exhibition room features a soaring ceiling and ornate marble architectural details that predate its identity as a gallery — remnants that Neel invites into her work. “My interest in history is very served by this space,” she says. Halfway through awards season, “KPop Demon Hunters” creator and codirector Maggie Kang is still checking items off her bucket list. “I got to meet Leonardo DiCaprio yesterday to finally tick that box,” Kang says. It’s the day after the Oscar nominees luncheon, which included a “class photo” featuring all of this year’s nominated talent. “It was either my third or fourth Academy event, and they’ve progressively become more fun because you just get more and more comfortable in the room and with seeing really famous people,” she adds. “[Steven] Spielberg’s there, and he’s like two feet away from you — you’re like, ‘Oh my gosh, this is crazy.’” For other nominees, Kang might be that “oh my gosh” person to meet as the creator and codirector of one of this year’s most popular films. Released last summer, “KPop Demon Hunters” was the most streamed film of 2025, and is Netflix’s most-watched film of all time.  “The movie’s kind of taken on another life. Saudi Retail’s New Message to Global Brands: Adapt or Miss Out

RIYADH — The conversation about Saudi Arabia’s retail ambitions has shifted. It is no longer about whether the kingdom can attract international brands or fill new malls. The question now, as articulated across two days at the 2026 RLC Global Forum here earlier this month, is who sets the terms. Increasingly, the answer is local. Convened in partnership with the Royal Commission for Riyadh City, the forum brought together regional conglomerates, sovereign-backed institutions and global operators to discuss how the balance of power in retail is tilting toward markets that are no longer content to import a playbook. “We meet at a moment that feels fundamentally different from just a few years ago,” said Panos Linardos, chairman of RLC. “Growth today is no longer linear. It is not evenly distributed. It is no longer guaranteed.” A $40 Billion BlueprintBurak Çakmak, chief executive officer of the Saudi Fashion Commission, shared a detailed picture of the country’s retail ambition. The fash...

Sam Tutty Takes Broadway in ‘Two Strangers (Carry a Cake Across New York)’

Sam Tutty arrived in New York in early October, unaware he was in for a rather rude weather awakening. “It’s the coldest I’ve ever felt in my entire life,” the English actor says. Tutty, the star of “Two Strangers (Carry a Cake Across New York),” has been surviving the New York winter with a team of humidifiers — and warmed by rave reviews for his Broadway debut. The West Sussex native stars as Dougal in the two-person show, which arrived on Broadway after runs off-West End, on the West End and in Cambridge, Mass. Finally, the New York-set show made its way to Broadway in November, at the Longacre.   The charmingly titled “Two Strangers (Carry a Cake Across New York)” follows Dougal, who flies to the city to attend his estranged father’s wedding. He is greeted at the airport by Robin, a native New Yorker who is the bride’s sister.  Tutty, 27, has starred as Dougal since the show’s off-West End run, in 2023.  “It was meant to be a six-week gig in a lovely theater call...

Emily Dawn Long Throws a Disco Dance Party at (Sub)Mercer During NYFW

We’ve always said it really isn’t New York Fashion Week without a dance floor makeout. On Friday evening, the scene outside The Mercer hotel’s subterranean club (Sub)Mercer felt far from the sanitized NYFW as of late. There were no street-style fits or social media postings, just vaping and gossiping and patiently waiting to be let in to dance.  Designer Emily Dawn Long had posted on her Instagram earlier in the week that she was throwing a disco party, “seeking everyone to come drip in sweat.” The night was titled “no one dances anymore,” which was also the name of her latest vintage T drop: the designer repurposed sourced vintage T-shirts that she emblazoned with her “no one dances anymore” logo and an image of two figures dancing.  The coat check at (Sub)Mercer had filled up within the first hour of the night: people were eager to party. Guests sipped martinis on the couch, while those on the dance floor opted for the more dance-friendly tequila soda. Little trays of brande...

Celebrities at AWGE Fall 2026: Rihanna, A$AP Nast and More

Inside the former Emigrant Savings Bank in downtown Manhattan, money was on a late start for A$AP Rocky’s AWGE show. It was 30 minutes past the listed show time, and the venue was mostly empty. Invited guests were still waiting for the main doors to open, although a few early VIP arrivals were already inside the room, mingling as jazz music played overhead. It might have felt serene, if not for the palpable anticipation growing for one VIP’s imminent arrival. Rihanna and the rest of the crowd entered the room just before 9 p.m. once the singer took her seat — with a mob of photographers capturing the moment — and the show quickly got started. After A$AP Rocky took his bow, VIPs including A$AP Nast, A$AP Illz, Julia Fox, Young M.A and former boxer Eric Kelly headed downstairs to the backstage where A$AP Rocky was holding court. After a brief huddle off to the side with Rihanna, the rapper headed into a mirrored AWGE-branded former vault to field questions about the collection. “I wanted...
