Viola Davis Favors Utilitarian Inspiration in Sleeveless Textural Ensemble for ‘G20’ Photo Call in London

Viola Davis attended the photo call for her forthcoming film “G20” on Tuesday in London’s iconic Trafalgar Square. The venerated actress stars in the forthcoming Amazon Prime Video movie, costarring Anthony Anderson and Marsai Martin. For the occasion, Davis opted for a look courtesy of Stella McCartney. The Oscar-winning “Fences” actress styled a matching set, featuring a sleeveless halter top and a pair of high-waisted coordinated black trousers. Viola Davis The top was made of recycled polyester velvet, featuring the wrapped halter neckline prominently and split into two panels. The fabric of the look cascades straight past the hips to a split above the waistline, which revealed Davis’ midriff. The top perfectly coordinated with the pants, which featured the same textural fabric. The pants were designed with a wide-leg style. Instead of the pants flowing to the ground, Davis opted to tuck the hem of her pants into her black pointed-toe boots with a slight heel.
