On Wednesday night, American Ballet Theatre brought a taste of the Metropolitan Opera House to Cipriani 42nd Street. The ballet company headed to the midtown venue for its annual spring gala, with dancers — and a ballet — in tow. The evening kicked off the upcoming summer season while raising support for the company, and paid tribute to longtime supporter Katie Holmes. Guests included ballet and theater lovers, including “Hadestown” creator Anaïs Mitchell, Timothée Chalamet’s mother Nicole Flender, choreographer Anne Imhof, Constance Wu, Zac Posen, Fernando Garcia, Iris Apatow, Jeremiah Brent and Nate Berkus, Katie Couric, Michael and Victoria Imperioli, and more.
