British Royal Family Commemorates Prince Louis’ 8th Birthday With New Portrait

Prince William and Kate Middleton’s youngest son Prince Louis celebrated his eighth birthday on Thursday. The Prince and Princess of Wales commemorated the occasion with a new portrait of the 8-year-old, which they shared on their official Instagram account. For the portrait, captured by photographer Matt Porteous, Prince Louis wore a Boden half-zip knit jumper in a shade of nautical blue, with red trim at the end of the sleeves and a white interior collar. The photo was captured during Prince William and Middleton’s family holiday in Cornwall. The British royal couple also shared a secondary post to commemorate Prince Louis’ birthday, this time a video of the newly minted 8-year-old on holiday.
