Taraji P. Henson took to the streets of New York on Thursday to promote the Boris Lawrence Henson Foundation, which she founded in 2018, and Kate Spade New York’s new partnership. The organization and the fashion brand teamed to launch the She Care Wellness Pods campaign, which will offer mental health resources to more than 25,000 Black women at college campuses across the country. “You’ve got to take care of the women first because we drive change. Women are the change in most cases and so if you want to save the world, you save the women first,” Henson told WWD on Tuesday.
