Yeah, it’s come back with a vengeance… not that we’re one bit surprised, or disappointed for that matter. Having gone veritably viral on social media, the Hermès lookalike didn’t come from one particular brand. Instead, it was offered by various third-party retailers at Walmart, almost always for under $100. Understandably, pretty much every last version of the chic and structured carryall sold out on the site in a flash, with many legal experts weighing in on the repercussions (a big topic at the time regarded the possibility of the OG Birkin becoming devalued based on this latest manifestation of “dupe culture”).
