Tom Ford has a lot to celebrate.
As its parent company marks 80 years in business, Tom Ford is feteing its own 21st birthday with a significant milestone: surpassing the $1 billion mark in sales in fiscal year 2026.
The Estée Lauder Cos. acquired Tom Ford in 2023, after holding the brand’s beauty license since 2006. The brand has become what its president and chief executive officer, Guillaume Jesel, calls “a beacon of luxury” for the company.
“We serve a role in the portfolio of the Estée Lauder Cos. that is very unique, because we are also a fashion brand,” said Jesel. “Acquiring the brand allowed us to build a complete global luxury house, with a vision that it would also bring synergies between beauty, fashion and eyewear.
“Many of such houses of this type were created in the previous century,” he continued, calling the $1 billion threshold a milestone. “Now, we have to think of the next one. It’s a defining moment for us, and it came largely from continued strength in the fragrance category recently, also in beauty, makeup in China.”
Jesel attributed the brand’s success, as well, to visionary creativity, both in beauty and fashion, plus a belief in extraordinary quality
