Hilton McConnico, a designer and scenographer who had recently collaborated with Hermès on exhibitions, died in Paris on Monday. He had Parkinson’s disease. Born in Tennessee, but based in Paris since 1965, he worked in fashion early in his career, including for Yves Saint Laurent and Ted Lapidus, and went on to work for crystal makers Saint-Louis and Daum. He was also the set and production designer for scores of films, including the 1981 cult classic “Diva.” Services are scheduled for Feb. 6 at 3:30 p.m. at the Grande Coupole at the Père Lachaise cemetery in Paris.
