Another weekend has arrived as we continue enjoying spring. For those trying to enjoy a peaceful weekend at home, Hulu, Netflix and HBO Max all have a new slate of programs and movies for viewers to enjoy. For fans of documentaries and music, Donna Summer’s documentary is finally debuting on HBO Max. For those in the mood for reality television, “Selling Sunset” returns to Netflix for season six. WWD has rounded up what to watch for the weekend of May 19. “White Men Can’t Jump” This comedy is a remake of the famed 1992 film celebrating the streetball hustling culture of Los Angeles. Grammy-nominated rapper and musician Jack Harlow will make his acting debut in “White Men Can’t Jump.” Date: May 19 Platform: Hulu “Sophie’s Choice” “Sophie’s Choice” is one of the most groundbreaking films of Meryl Streep’s career, garnering her one of her three Academy Awards for acting. Streep stars as a Holocaust survivor in 1947 Brooklyn who has found a new life for herself, but once made a great choice between her children she still regrets. Date: May 19 Platform: Hulu “Muted” This drama follows the story of a young man who hasn’t said a word in six years since he murdered his parents when he was a minor.
