According to Max’s synopsis, the film explores “the emotional complexities and high stakes of belonging” in the exclusive subculture of Greek life. “Bama Rush” is directed by Rachel Fleit, who previously helmed “Introducing, Selma Blair.” Date: May 23 Platform: Max Holliday, student at The University of Alabama. “American Born Chinese” “American Born Chinese” is based on Gene Luen Yang’s 2006 graphic novel. Ben Wang leads the cast as Jin, a teenager who finds himself involved in an epic battle between mythological Chinese gods. Michelle Yeoh, Stephanie Hsu and Ke Huy Quan of “Everything, Everywhere, All at Once” also appear in the new action series.
