First Lady Jill Biden donned a purple Theory pantsuit to attend the debut of Nickelodeon and Attn:’s “Well Versed” educational television show in Philadelphia on Friday. Biden, who holds a doctorate in education, accessorized with purple suede pointy-toe pumps, a gold heart pendant necklace and a gold lapel brooch with pearl accent. Jill Biden “Well Versed” is hailed as a modern version of “Schoolhouse Rock.” The latter program, which debuted in 1973, focused on school subjects, including grammar, science, history, mathematics and civics. “Well Versed” is putting a heavy emphasis on civics in the wake of what many view as a trying time for democracy and education.
