Angel Reese Goes Backless in Dramatic Bronx and Banco Dress at WNBA Draft 2024, Accepts Chicago Sky Jersey

The “Bayou Barbie” chose Bronx and Banco. Louisiana State University Tigers forward Angel Reese accepted her jersey for the Chicago Sky as the No. 7 WNBA Draft pick on Monday in New York. Reese wore a look from the brand’s fall 2024 collection, the Amalia gown. The statement-maker featured a cowl neck, open back and dramatic train. Designer Natalie De Banco looked to her celebrity clientele as inspiration for the collection. “I always ask them, ‘How do you want to feel?,’” she told WWD during a showroom visit in February, adding that she let them consider two archetypes: glamorous and in color or bossy in black.
