Mariah Carey Shines in Gold Sophie Couture Gown, Swarovski-embellished Valdrin Sahiti and More Looks From the First Night of Her Las Vegas Residency

Mariah Carey opened her new Las Vegas residency, “Mariah Carey: The Celebration of Mimi,” on Friday at the Dolby Theater. The Grammy-winning singer fashioned a series of looks for her performances that were each as elegant and dazzling as the next. Carey’s residency is set to run for 16 dates. The residency is a celebration commemorating the 20th anniversary of Carey’s album “The Emancipation of Mimi.” For her opening night, the singer fashioned designer looks courtesy of Sophie Couture and Valdrin Sahiti, among others. Her looks were curated by stylist Wilfredo Rosado, who also has a pearl-focused jewelry line.
