Nina Agdal Returns to Sports Illustrated’s Swimsuit Issue for 60th Anniversary More Than a Decade After Her Rookie of the Year Debut

Nina Agdal will once again be featured in Sports Illustrated’s annual Swimsuit Issue, the magazine revealed on Monday. “She’s back,” an Instagram post by the publication reads. “SI Swimsuit legend @ninaagdal is making her return for the 60th anniversary issue.” View this post on Instagram A post shared by Sports Illustrated Swimsuit (@si_swimsuit) Agdal originally appeared in SI’s Swimsuit Issue in 2012, when she was named Rookie of the Year. The Danish model was photographed by James Macari in East Africa. “I was so young and it was my first real big shoot in America,” Agdal told Sports Illustrated. “I didn’t really know what I was doing. I still kind of don’t, but back then I really didn’t know what I was doing. I was more nervous, obviously, being in a swimsuit and knowing how many people were going to see it was extremely intimidating. I was kind of just pretending I knew what I was doing and then it ended up working out.
