Julia Garner embraced method dressing with Thom Browne for “The Fantastic Four: First Steps” event in London on Thursday. The Emmy Award-winning actress, who plays the Silver Surfer in the forthcoming superhero film, wore a shimmering, metallic silver dress from the brand, featuring a peekaboo bra layering effect. The dress featured an asymmetrical silhouette, with a formfitting bodice and one long sleeve. The skirt of the dress flowed down in a column shape. While the original design featured a suited shirt, tie and waistcoat, Garner stripped the look back with sheer fabric and a soft gray peekaboo bra layering element. The peekaboo bra layering trend resurfaced in 2024, thanks to celebrities like Kristen Stewart, Sydney Sweeney and Katie Holmes who put their own spin on the look.
