Andrea Weiss has been named board chairman of Delivering Good, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing new, quality necessities to families facing the challenges of poverty and disaster. She succeeds Allan Ellinger, who cofounded Fashion Delivers and served as Delivering Good’s chairman for several years. He will continue to serve on the organization’s board of directors. Weiss will help Delivering Good expand its charitable mission by building new partnerships with retailers, brands and manufacturers. She will work closely with Lisa Gurwitch, president and chief executive officer of Delivering Good. Through partnerships with local nonprofits, Delivering Good helps low-income and disaster-impacted communities strengthen and rebuild. Weiss serves on the board of directors for RPT Realty, Cracker Barrel and Nutrisystem, and is a member of the North American advisory board of SAP. She is also cofounder of the O Alliance, a new consulting model designed to align retailers’ organizational practices with digitally savvy consumers.
