Suits Cast Reveals Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's Wedding "Forever" Changed Their Lives

Imagine your coworker, whom you've worked with for years, suddenly becomes British royalty. It's highly unlikely, but not totally unfathomable. After all, that's what happened to the cast of Suits when Meghan Markle married Prince Harry in May 2018.

On Tuesday, the show's creator, Aaron Korsh, sat alongside cast members during a press tour for the Suits spinoff series Pearson and spoke about what it was like attending the royal wedding. "The thing I'll say about it is that we all went as a family." Aaron said during the event held in Pasadena, CA. "When we all went, there were about 10 of us or something . . . it was unbelievable. I think it changed our lives in certain ways forever. But if it had never happened, we were a family on Suits for 10 years."

Some of Meghan's former costars who went to the London wedding included her on-screen love interest Patrick J. Adams (Mike Ross), Gina Torres (Jessica Pearson), Abigail Spencer (Dana "Scottie" Scott), Sarah Rafferty (Donna Paulsen), and Gabriel Macht (Harvey Spencer).

Meghan portrayed paralegal Rachel Zane on the show for seven seasons, from 2011 to 2017. USA Network officially announced her departure in November 2017. Suits was recently renewed for a ninth season, which will be its final instalment.

Upon hearing news of the show ending, fans immediately begged the question, will Meghan make a final farewell appearance? Well, according to Aaron, it's not looking very likely. "We're not currently asking Meghan Markle to leave her position with the royal family and join us," he said on Tuesday. "I would love it, but I think it's pretty close to zero."

This falls in line with his previous statements on whether or not Meghan will make a comeback. On Jan. 23, Aaron responded to reports that the show was donating millions of dollars to charity to encourage Meghan to make a cameo. "As of this minute I don't know which of our old original cast will be back and which won't because we're so early in the season. I can tell you that those things in the papers, I have no idea what they're talking about," he told Deadline. "I have not arranged for millions of dollars to be donated to anything on behalf of anyone so that I can tell you, but as far as the original people coming back including Jessica, we're so early in the season that we haven't formulated what we want to do, so we can't reach out to people before we know what we want to do."

It would be a pleasant surprise if Meghan makes a final appearance on the show in some way, but she currently has a lot on her plate. She has a baby on the way, she and Harry are preparing to move into a new home, and there are plenty of royal outings and engagements for her to attend to this year. But we can still hope, right?
