The red carpet at the 2024 Golden Globe Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday saw a surge of see-through fashions, worn by celebrities including Kristin Wiig, Florence Pugh and Emma Stone, who brought the sheer trend into 2024. Below, nine celebrities who went sheer at the 2024 Golden Globes. Kristin Wiig Kristen Wiig Wiig arrived at the Golden Globes in a Giambattista Valli ensemble. The black two-piece had a sheer design down the front, with bows near thin shoulder straps. The well-known comedian also wore a pearl bracelet and pearl stud earrings by Tiffany & Co. Emma Stone Emma Stone The Golden Globe winner took home an award for her performance in “Poor Things” on Sunday night wearing a bedazzled floral gown by Louis Vuitton. The sheer number was decorated with glistening roses and featured a high leg slit and a plunging neckline. She paired it with gold, strappy heels. Florence Pugh Florence Pugh Pugh — who has been regularly dressing in sheer looks since summer 2022 — donned a red, sheer Valentino gown at the Golden Globe Awards. The gown featured a plunging neckline, rouched bodice and three-dimensional roses throughout.
