Starface Collaborates With Hello Kitty on Pimple Patches Featuring Sanrio’s Most Popular Characters

Starface has collaborated with Sanrio for the fifth time to release “Hello Kitty and Friends x Starface,” a selection of limited-edition skin care products featuring Hello Kitty and several other beloved characters from the popular franchise. Hello Kitty and Friends x Starface collection. Starface, an acne skin care brand known for its bestselling Hydro-Stars hydrocolloid pimple patches, has collaborated with the Japanese entertainment company numerous times on different product variations featuring Sanrio’s most popular characters. The 2024 collection will feature compacts and refills of Hello Kitty, Badtz Maru and Keroppi-themed Hydro-Stars, which will be available to purchase online and in-store beginning Jan. 25. The patches, designed to help absorb fluid, reduce the appearance of inflammation and shrink pimples, have been redesigned to resemble the character’s cartoon faces. Like all Hydro-Stars, the patches come packaged in a small plastic compact that has been reworked with the colors and faces of each individual character. Starface’s first collaboration with Sanrio sold out within 72 hours of going live and amassed a 10,000-person waitlist.
