The 2024 Lunar New Year is upon us, taking place on Feb. 10. Compared to the standard New Year calendar, the Lunar New Year — this time the Year of the Dragon — is celebrated over the course of multiple days. In Chinese culture, the dragon is seen as a symbol of authority, honor and dignity, and has long represented imperial power. The Year of the Dragon is considered a lucky one, and the year is said to bring the ability to harness intelligence, leadership and creative pursuits. Ahead of the Lunar New Year, fashion brands have begun debuting pieces to celebrate the Year of the Dragon.
