Scarlett Johansson Pays Tribute to China’s Red Heritage in Prada at ‘Jurassic World Rebirth’ Shanghai Premiere

Scarlett Johansson joined members of the cast and creative team of “Jurassic World Rebirth” on Sunday for the film’s premiere in Shanghai. The actress costars in the film alongside “Bridgerton” breakout star Jonathan Bailey and two-time Oscar winner Mahershala Ali. For the red carpet occasion, Johansson wore a classic red dress by Prada, subtly nodding to China’s tradition of red. In China, red is a symbol of the sun and is associated with festivities and happiness, according to the National Museum of Asian Art. The shade is also the main color in the country’s flag.
