Celebrities at the recent Paris Couture Week revived feathery fashion — with designs by Schiaparelli, Michael Kors and more. Feathers and couture fashion have long flocked together. Since the early 1900s, plumassiers, or feather specialists, have worked with fashion houses to incorporate the material, both faux and real, into designs for couture and ready-to-wear collections. While the spring 2026 couture collections included several feathery designs, the fall 2026 Paris Couture Week was a showcase for feathered fashion from Jennifer Lopez to Emma Corrin and more.
