Avril Lavigne Does Couture: Behind the Scenes in Paris at the Tamara Ralph Show

Avril Lavigne was back in the front row this week, this time in Paris for the latest couture shows. Lavigne’s itinerary included Iris van Herpen and Tamara Ralph, the latter of which she documented for WWD. Lavigne was “still thinking about the [Iris van Herpen] show” while getting ready for Tamara Ralph. The musician accessorized her Tamara Ralph show look with a small glossy black clutch and a pair of black Christian Louboutin pumps. “These Christian Louboutins sure are different than what I have been wearing at the festivals,” she said.  Following the show, Lavigne gushed over the designs.  “I was so blown away by each piece on the runway,” she said of the collection. “Each was so dreamy and unique from the other. I want to wear each of her dresses.” After the show, she made her way backstage. “Meeting Tamara after [the show] was wonderful. I couldn’t stop talking about all the looks I loved,” Lavigne said.  Lavigne is one of many stars who has descended upon Paris for couture week. Dior’s front row drew Jennifer Lopez, Quinta Brunson, Marisa Abela and Doja Cat, while the Chanel couture show had Kerry Washington, Keira Knightley, Naomi Campbell, Michelle Williams and more.
