First Lady Jill Biden Embraces Subdued Elegance for D-Day 80th Anniversary Ceremony at Normandy With President Biden and Veterans

President Joe Biden and First Lady of the U.S. Jill Biden traveled to France for the commemorative ceremony marking the 80th anniversary of D-Day in Normandy on Thursday. The couple greeted and spoke with World War II veterans and were joined by the president and first lady for France. For the occasion, Biden opted for subdued elegance. Trading out previous color motifs like sparkling sapphires and ombre hues of purple, Biden wore a dark skirt suit with an ornate pattern. The first lady continued the style choice with the selection of her accessories.
