Global Pride Month culminates this weekend with the annual NYC Pride March on Sunday. But the party has already started — here’s a look at the daytime events and nighttime celebrations taking place around the city. Cynthia Erivo Headlines Pride Live’s Stonewall Day 2024 Pride Live will mark the 55th anniversary of the Stonewall Rebellion, and grand opening of the Stonewall National Monument Visitor Center, on Friday. Cynthia Erivo will headline the free ticketed celebration, with additional performances by Betty, Conchita Wurst and Loren Allred. The event takes place at the Public Square and Gardens at Hudson Yards starting at 5 p.m. Cynthia Erivo Pride in Times Square In collaboration with Playbill, Times Square is hosting a lineup of free events throughout Pride weekend. The schedule includes a Broadway Pride Block Party on Friday with performances by Broadway and Off-Broadway artists, appearances by drag performers during the day, and the third annual Big Broadway Disco on Saturday evening. On Sunday, catch the Playbill Pride Float as it sets off for the NYC Pride March on Fifth Avenue.
