Princess Charlene of Monaco Scores Style Points in Floral Elie Saab Dress at Golf Tournament

Princess Charlene of Monaco went monochrome in Elie Saab with dashes of floral inspiration at the Fourth Princess of Monaco Cup golf tournament on Tuesday in Monaco. Accompanied by her husband of 14 years, Prince Albert II, Princess Charlene wore a bespoke, sleeveless floral embroidered tulle midi dress. The look featured a rounded neckline and some playful sheer elements on the bodice of the frock. Getty Images Beneath the dress was a stark white base, which was overlayered by the floral embroidery and semi-sheer element at the neckline. Per the fashion label’s description of the dress, the look upon which Princess Charlene’s midi frock is based echoes the “romantic elegance of 1950s Italian cinema.” Following World War II, Italy’s film industry took cues from Hollywood, elevating glamour and sweeping love stories in several features. Michael Urie Is in His Dreamy Era

“It’s been a dreamy couple of years,” says Michael Urie on a Friday afternoon phone call, just hours before a performance of his latest Broadway show “Once Upon a Mattress” at the Hudson Theatre.
