Janet Jackson Does an Edgy Spin on ‘90s Pop Diva Glam for the BET Awards 2026 Red Carpet

Janet Jackson added a sentimental touch to her ‘90s pop star glam look at the 2026 BET Awards on Sunday night in Los Angeles. Janet Jackson Gilbert Flores The longtime entertainer wore a pair of low-rise, wide-leg pinstripe trousers with a slightly oversized fit. A cuff at the hem of the trousers kept Jackson’s shoes hidden, while the rest of her look evoked real ’90s layering elements and other details. Jackson added a pinstripe white dress shirt to go with her trousers. Atop the collared dress shirt, the “Feedback” artist wore a gray T-shirt with “2Pac” embossed in a blueish-gray font. The T-shirt paid homage to ’90s rapper Tupac Shakur, with whom Jackson costarred in the 1993 film “Poetic Justice.” 2026 marks 30 years since Shakur was murdered.
