Dark glamour was the unofficial, though heavily implied, dress code for the stars of “Monster: The Lizzie Borden Story” at the series’ New York City premiere on Wednesday night at Pulitzer Fountain. Ella Beatty, Vicky Krieps and more came dressed head-to-toe in black, sporting designs from Harbison Studio, Bottega Veneta and Erdem, among others.

Ella Beatty turned to Harbison Studio for her custom red carpet look. The actress, who is also the daughter of Hollywood titans Annette Bening and Warren Beatty, wore a formfitting black gown with subtle lingerie-inspired elements.
The bodice of the dress featured a bustier with a slim-fitting silhouette and cinched waist. The skirt of the dress flowed with a short train that trailed Beatty on the red carpet.

Vicky Kreips opted for a sleek black dress by Bottega Venetta. The long-sleeved dress was crafted with contrasting fabric, with a turtleneck and a drop waist that transitioned to a leathery maxi skirt. The dress also included a cutout for an open back. Krieps’ look was curated by stylist Jonathan Huguet.
