Beyoncé threw an all-white party to celebrate the launch of her new hair care line, Cécred, in Los Angeles on Tuesday. The singer embraced the event’s dress code in a white-hot look from Prabal Gurung’s spring 2024 ready-to-wear collection, consisting of a one-shoulder corset top, a pair of high-rise baggy pants and a flowy parachute jacket. She elevated the look with matching Amina Muaddi’s platforms.  Beyoncé celebrates the launch of her hair care line, Cécred. Prabal Gurung was inspired by his family’s immigration experience from South Asia to the U.S. to create his spring 2024 collection. “My goal with this collection is we live in this day and age where we’re curious about each other’s cultures, but afraid of cultural appropriation,” Gurung told WWD, as previously reported. “I was like, let me find a way to tell a story where we can see each other and not be afraid, so there’s a mix of the silhouettes and the shapes from where I grew up in India and Nepal, and a mix of the ease and pragmatism of the West.” Model on the runway at the Prabal Gurung spring 2024 RTW show on Sept. 8.
