The Independent Spirit Awards, founded in 1984, celebrate the best films and performances in the independent film and television industry. The 39th annual ceremony, held in Los Angeles on Sunday, is hosted by comedian and former “Saturday Night Live” cast member Aidy Bryant. This year sees the introduction of a new category: Best Breakthrough Performance in a New Scripted Series. Here, a look at the early red carpet arrivals at the 2024 Independent Spirit Awards.
