The Delamar Greenwich Harbor, a luxury hotel located in the upscale enclave of Greenwich, Conn., has linked up with design firm Williams Lawrence. Bunny Williams and Elizabeth Lawrence, who joined forces in 2023, will oversee the hotel’s first major renovation in 25 years. The renovation will include a redesign of the lobby and grand penthouse, as well as 65 guest rooms. The duo’s design approach for the hotel is merging “classic and contemporary elements,” to create an upscale and elegant environment. “The hotel has long been an icon at Greenwich Harbor and we plan to bring a new sense of style and timeless elegance to the spaces for the next generation of guests,” Williams said in an announcement about the project. Nili Lotan and musician Alison Mosshart’s collaboration began as many great friendships do: at the Chateau Marmont. “We had the most hysterically funny dinner,” says Mosshart of meeting the designer last fall. “We just basically giggled and laughed so much that we cried for four hours. That’s how we met.” Later this month, Mosshart, one half of rock duo The Kills, will debut a solo exhibition of paintings at the Nili Lotan flagship boutique in Tribeca. A few weeks out from the opening, Mosshart is still discovering what the exhibition is going to look like. “I’m just painting and painting and working on a bunch of different things, and then I’ll decide what the show is,” says Mosshart from her home in Nashville. Leslie Bibb’s fashion week debut at Balmain was long in the making. During the filming of Season One of the hit Apple show “Palm Royale,” roughly two years ago, Bibb was being fitted for a gown for the finale episode, the big “beach ball” scene. “We found a dress, and it was a vintage Christian Dior dress. It was bananas,” Bibb says. The gown, which was from the late ’60s, needed to be tailored as it was several sizes too big. The day before shooting Bibb had her fitting, and during the alterations things went astray. “It was destroyed,” Bibb says. The show’s costume designer, Alix Friedberg, sprung to action and soon enough there was a knock at Bibb’s trailer door. “It was a blur,” says Aminah Nieves in the days following the Season Two premiere of her hit show “1923.” The actress is already back home near Gary, Ind., where she grew up, and still processing the big night.
