Sotheby’s celebrated their list of “Creators & Collectors” with a dinner party inside the legendary Breuer Building on Tuesday evening. The inaugural honorees included Jon Batiste, Thelma Golden, Peter Marino, Julian Schnabel and Jen Rubio. Guests including Lily Allen, Iman, Barbara Bush, Chase Sui Wonders, Anna Weyant, Tory Burch, Ulla Johnson, Wes Gordon, Carolyn Murphy, Gabriela Hearst, Jean Pigozzi, Conner Ives, Natalie Massenet, Nili Lotan, Pamela Hanson, Reed Krakoff and more packed into the Breuer’s lobby for a cocktail hour prior to dinner. Iman stood regally with a fur stole draped over one shoulder, chatting with Laura Brown. Pigozzi roamed the room with a camera in one hand and a tiki-looking cocktail in the other. Aby Rosen and Vito Schnabel shrugged in agreement when asked for a photo-op. “Yeah, yeah, it’s very Sotheby’s,” Allen was told as she posed in her Chanel ensemble.
