Isabella Rossellini Proves the Power of a Great Red Lip at the 2025 Golden Globe Awards

Isabella Rossellini just graced the Golden Globes red carpet on Jan. 5, with a nomination for Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role in any Motion Picture for her performance as the quiet yet stern Sister Agnes in the Vatican thriller “Conclave.” Though she has but a few lines in the film, they’re poignant and attention-grabbing: so much so that, according to Town & Country, her appearances inspired standing ovations during multiple screenings. Isabella Rossellini walks the red carpet at the 82nd Annual Golden Globe Awards in Beverly Hills, California. Another thing deserving of a standing ovation? Rossellini’s red carpet makeup look, powered by Lancôme and engineered by Afganistan-born artist Matin Maulawizada, who has in the past worked with talent ranging from Angelina Jolie to Jessica Chastain to Lupita Nyong’o. For this evening, Maulawizada emphasized the actress’s eyes with Lancôme liquid eyeliner in a bold black and balanced it with a striking red Lancôme lipstick, slightly lighter in color than her attire of choice — a custom-made Dolce & Gabbana Alta Moda long-sleeved lace dress with an attached sheer
