Isabella Rossellini just graced the Golden Globes red carpet on Jan. 5, with a nomination for Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role in any Motion Picture for her performance as the quiet yet stern Sister Agnes in the Vatican thriller “Conclave.” Though she has but a few lines in the film, they’re poignant and attention-grabbing: so much so that, according to Town & Country, her appearances inspired standing ovations during multiple screenings.
