Designers and celebrities aren’t the only trendsetters — movies and television shows have generated many a fashion fad: just take it from this year’s Golden Globe nominees. After breaking box office records, “Barbie” leads the list with 10 nominations, meanwhile hit dramas such as “Succession” and “The Crown” swept several television categories with nine and four nods each, respectively. Some of the biggest trends on screen have also translated to the real world, with Barbiecore leaving its mark on fashion and beauty and quiet luxury leading those of all classes to channel the Roy family’s penchant for minimalist dressing.
