Sequins, Crystals and Shiny Embellishments Ruled the Red Carpet in 2023

Sparkles and sequin embellishments took the runways of Valentino, Jil Sander and Rick Owens by storm this year. Between the Oscars and the Met Gala, stars also took to the fad, breaking out their best glittering garments in shades of silver, orange and blue, to name a few. Among the A-listers who embraced shimmer and shine were Jessica Chastain, Nicole Kidman and Salma Hayek, who set the trend for awards season.
