“What’s Contemporary Now” has unveiled the launch of its third season. The podcast, which is hosted by Christopher Michael and produced by Shayan Asadi, is slated to return with a number of high-profile guests across the fashion, tech and beauty industries. “On this show, we have the opportunity to discuss culture with creative minds whose work helps shape the landscape. We have the privilege of hearing unique perspectives while also discovering common threads in today’s human experience. It’s fun, it’s interesting, and it’s an absolute gift,” Michael told WWD. Michael launched “What’s Contemporary” as a digital platform in 2011 and has since transformed and expanded it into the podcast “What’s Contemporary Now?” The podcast unites thought leaders from across industries to discuss topics surrounding culture, career and the overall human experience. A guest in the upcoming season is Mel Ottenberg, a wardrobe stylist (whose previous clients include Rihanna) and the current editor in chief of Interview magazine.
