Taylor Swift Goes Barbiecore in Pink Versace ‘Lovers’ Outfit for Eras Tour in Buenos Aires

Taylor Swift went full Barbiecore for her Eras Tour on Thursday in Buenos Aires in sparkling pink Versace. For her “Lovers” set, her looks included a crystal-embroidered bustier bodysuit with paillettes and fuchsia crystals, and a blazer embellished in iridescent fuchsia crystals, accented by silver Medusa buttons, paired with pink, glitter knee-high Christian Louboutin boots. Taylor Swift Swift began the tour in March, and has worked with celebrity stylist Joseph Cassell Falconer on her looks. Taylor Swift Swift has worn Versace several times during the tour, including a sequin blue and pink bodysuit when she kicked off the tour in Glendale, Ariz. At this year’s MTV VMAs, Swift wore a black Versace dress. Swift’s Eras Tour-style has centered around sequins and sparkles — a trend that’s been adopted by her fans, who have debuted their glittering looks on TikTok. Swift’s adoption of the Barbiecore aesthetic comes just months after Greta Gerwig’s “Barbie” film became a $1 billion box office hit. Swift and “Barbie,” along with Swift’s fellow pop star Beyoncé and the release of Christopher Nolan’s “Oppenheimer” film, were projected to add $8.5 billion to the economy in the third quarter, according to a report by Morgan Stanley.
