Making an investment in a designer handbag is not unlike finding a life partner or choosing a career — it’s a decision you don’t want to take lightly. When I’m gearing up to buy a new bag, my criteria includes getting that buzzy feeling when I see it — like I really, really need the tote bag or clutch or top-handle purse in my daily existence.
