The Paris Games may go down as the most stylish Olympics ever, with athletes playing to the TV, streaming and social media spotlights, and engaged spectators lapping it up. Thanks to the pandemic, the last summer Olympics held in Tokyo in 2021 were without fans, and while social media was certainly around during the 2016 Rio Games, the impact was nothing compared to what’s been happening now, with more than 8.5 billion engagements, up 40 percent from Tokyo, according to Deadline. The Paris Games have also been getting huge audiences daily on NBC and Peacock, up 80 percent from Tokyo, the entertainment site reported. American pommel horse specialist Stephen Nedoroscik, Turkish shooter Yusuf Dikec and South Korean shooter Kim Yeji and Italian swimmer Thomas Ceccon have also enjoyed their moments of viral obsession. While both shows feature Urie in showstopping musical numbers, he never considered himself to be “very musical.”  Michael Urie in “Once Upon a Mattress.” “Doing a musical at all, it’s still a pinch me thing,” he says. “I fell in love with theater because of musicals…[but singing] didn’t come naturally to me.”  Urie con

If you purchase an independently reviewed product or service through a link on our website, WWD may receive an affiliate commission. While there’s nothing quite as satisfying as a fresh manicure, constant trips to the salon can become super expensive. This cost can make it hard to motivate yourself to try new things, and just generally prohibitive. That said, recently there have been tons and tons of press-on nail options popping up on Amazon. These are not the cheap press on nails from the early 90s; these are high-quality, durable and perhaps most importantly, absolutely beautiful. Amazon Prime members will get free shipping in just two days, so they’re the perfect option for those looking to throw on some nails before a big event or last minute gathering. Since they’re all attached with glue, they are super easy to apply. You simply dab a small amount of the provided glue onto the inside of the press on nail and place it on your real nail.
