The most surprising reveal of all? The fact that black (not pink, white, or even purple) is the colorway of choice for rose purchases right about now, with 1-800-Flowers sharing that “searches for black roses jumped 50 percent compared to the yearly average.” We’d like to think of this as a sign that consumers are starting to think outside the box when it comes to their holiday shopping habits.
