Meghan Markle bundled up in a Heidi Merrick coat for the premiere of the forthcoming documentary “Cookie Queens” on Sunday, joined by husband Prince Harry and the film’s director Alysa Nahmias. For the cold, wintery temperatures, the As Ever founder wore Heidi Merrick’s fog coat in a shade of deep sea. Inspired by English tailoring, the full-length trenchcoat-style piece was constructed with a softly structured raglan sleeve and rounded collar that could be worn open or buttoned high and crossed over for extra warmth. Markle paired the looked with a cream sweater and black pants with pointed toe shoes to complete the look. Heidi Merrick has long been a favorite designer of the Duchess of Sussex since she returned to the U.S. and settled in Montecito, Calif., with her husband. Based in California, Merrick’s designs were an integral part of Markle’s wardrobe during the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s tour of Nigeria in 2024.
