Naomi Osaka Serves Veiled Jellyfish Couture in Custom Nike and Robert Wun Tennis Kit for the Australian Open 2026

Naomi Osaka stepped up to the service line in a custom Nike and Robert Wun tennis kit for her first round match at the 2026 Australian Open on Tuesday in Melbourne, Australia. The four-time grand slam champion defeated Antonia Ružić of Croatia in a three-set battle. Osaka turned to her longtime partner Nike for this sea-inspired look, with nods to a previous Australian Open showing. The athlete’s tennis kit consisted of a turquoise tie-dye and green racerback tennis dress. Osaka’s grand entrance for her first round also featured dramatic elements, including a white, wide-brim hat with a sheer veil. During her on-court warm-ups, Osaka donned a zip-up jacket with organic, wavy tendrils hanging from the sleeves. Though the entire look evoked a jellyfish, small white butterflies could also be glimpsed on the athlete’s apparel and accessories — a reference to Osaka’s 2021 Australian Open tennis match when the athlete moved a butterfly that landed on her face off the court.
