Celine Dion Returns to Paris in Alaïa’s Take on the Trenchcoat Trend

Celine Dion teased the next Alaïa collection in Paris ahead of her five-week residency in the City of Light on Friday. The venerated artist wore a cotton wrap coat with distinct design cues from a classic trenchcoat and high suede leather boots from the French luxury fashion house’s forthcoming Archetypes spring 2027 collection, which will debut in Paris this October. Celine Dion Alaïa began its Archetypes collections in November 2025 with the spring 2026 collection. The concept was created by creative director Pieter Mulier, curating a timeless, essential collection alongside trend-driven seasonal items. Dion was certainly on-trend with her look even if she was teasing the next drop from the French luxury fashion house.
