Monica Barbaro Deconstructs Dior’s Old Hollywood Cruise Style

Monica Barbaro gave Dior’s Old Hollywood aesthetic a pared-back variation for the “One Night Only” premiere at New York City’s SVA Theatre on Monday night. Monica Barbaro John Nacion The Oscar-nominated “A Complete Unknown” actress turned to the French luxury fashion house’s 2027 cruise collection for her premiere look, wearing a dress designed by Dior creative director Jonathan Anderson. The silky cream dress was crafted with a formfitting silhouette, thin straps and slight draping at the neckline for a cowl-neck effect. At the shoulder, a bold off-white floral appliqué with cascading soft blue petals gave the minimalist luxury dress its statement detail. Dior 2027 cruise collection. As for accessories, Barbaro sported a platinum marquise and round diamond ring courtesy of Saidian Vintage jewelry. The actress’ look was curated by stylist Elizabeth Saltzman. Barbaro’s dress was based on Look 33 from a collection that paid homage to Old Hollywood and gave the design codes of the time period an added dose of fantasy.
