Monica Barbaro gave Dior’s Old Hollywood aesthetic a pared-back variation for the “One Night Only” premiere at New York City’s SVA Theatre on Monday night.

The Oscar-nominated “A Complete Unknown” actress turned to the French luxury fashion house’s 2027 cruise collection for her premiere look, wearing a dress designed by Dior creative director Jonathan Anderson.
The silky cream dress was crafted with a formfitting silhouette, thin straps and slight draping at the neckline for a cowl-neck effect. At the shoulder, a bold off-white floral appliqué with cascading soft blue petals gave the minimalist luxury dress its statement detail.

As for accessories, Barbaro sported a platinum marquise and round diamond ring courtesy of Saidian Vintage jewelry. The actress’ look was curated by stylist Elizabeth Saltzman.
Barbaro’s dress was based on Look 33 from a collection that paid homage to Old Hollywood and gave the design codes of the time period an added dose of fantasy. The collection was “a love letter to Hollywood and the power of dreams and illusion,” Ryma Chikhoune wrote in WWD’s review of the collection.
