“I think we’ve seen that tennis has come back and had a bit of a moment over the last couple of years where it’s almost like its own fashion category. It’s the tennis look,” Jessica Pegula, the top ranked American woman in singles, recently told WWD.
Fashion and tennis are certainly linked, and with the U.S. Open just days away, fresh trends that pay homage to the sport, along with looks that have an easy, late-summer style, will be hitting the grounds of the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in droves.

Over the course of the last several years, tennis has inspired a fashion movement. “Tenniscore is in,” Morgan Riddle told WWD in May 2024. Indeed, the sport has managed to inspire a new take on fan dress codes, from racquet motifs to tennis dress-inspired silhouettes and more.
