“I think we’ve seen that tennis has come back and had a bit of a moment over the last couple of years where it’s almost like its own fashion category. It’s the tennis look,” Jessica Pegula, the top ranked American woman in singles, recently told WWD. Fashion and tennis are certainly linked, and with the U.S. Open just days away, fresh trends that pay homage to the sport, along with looks that have an easy, late-summer style, will be hitting the grounds of the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in droves.
