Samara Weaving‘s “X-Men” era is fully loaded. The actress channeled her character Emma Frost in a look by Vivienne Westwood at the D23 Disney Entertainment Showcase on Friday in Anaheim, Calif., where she joined the rest of her cast members for the introduction of the next iteration of the Marvel Comics property.

Weaving’s white minidress featured the British designer’s signature punk edge, with asymmetric straps, a rounded neckline and a form-fitting bodice. The skirt of the minidress included some definition at the hips, with a crisp, snowy color scheme — a nod to her “X-Men” character, who is also known as the White Queen, carried throughout.
Weaving paired pointed-toe Gianvito Rossi pumps with the white minidress. She brought some icy elements to her look, akin to her “X-Men” character Emma Frost, with a classic diamond bezel set tennis necklace courtesy of Sophia D jewelry.

Weaving’s D23 Disney Entertainment Showcase appearance on Friday marked the first publicity event for the actress as a cast member of the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s take on the “X-Men.” Her character, a mutant, has powers that include telepathy and organic diamond transformation mutation.
