Blackpink’s Jisoo Updates Quiet Luxury Trend in Blazer Dress for Dior’s Spring 2024 Show in Paris

Blackpink’s Jisoo arrived at Dior’s spring 2024 runway show for Paris Fashion Week on Wednesday, giving the quiet luxury trend a Y2K update in a black wool Dior blazer dress paired with black Dior combat boots. The K-pop star accessorized with a black Lady Dior bag. Jisoo Jisoo’s look was from Dior’s spring 2024 runway collection, which WWD characterized as a goth girl with a feminist punch. The show was described as a mix of feminine and tomboyish elements rooted in the archives of the house, in this case, founder Christian Dior’s 1948 Abandon dress, with its surprisingly sensual asymmetric neckline flashing an expanse of shoulder. Jisoo has been a brand ambassador for Dior since 2021. In February 2022, she joined her fellow Dior ambassador Anya Taylor-Joy and artist Sharon Alexie as the faces of a new ad campaign for Dior Addict lipstick, which relaunched in March 2023. In April 2022, Jisoo attended Dior’s fall 2022 collection show in Seoul, marking the first global show for the brand. The evening also marked Dior’s first major event in Seoul since the nation reopened its borders to fully vaccinated travelers and tourists after remaining largely shut for nearly two years due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
