Guests Take ‘Hot Lap’ Around Porsche Track in California

Home and car design meet with Backdrop x Porsche. It’s a limited-edition paint collection in the German automobile manufacturer’s four heritage colors: Irish Green, Riviera Blue, Speed Yellow and Ruby Star. “Collaborating with an iconic brand like Porsche has been such a thrill for us,” Natalie Ebel, Backdrop’s cofounder and creative director, told WWD. Ebel launched the paint company in 2018 with her husband, Caleb. Based in Los Angeles, they offer more than 75 colors with playful names like “Aperitivo Hour” and “Silverlake Dad.” Available exclusively at backdrophome.com, Backdrop x Porsche was unveiled in July. “Porsche has always understood that color can evoke strong feeling, and the same is true for how we design our homes,” she continued. “This collection has been so meaningful because it has allowed us to tap a passionate and engaged community of car enthusiasts who share our love for craftsmanship and design.
