New York Fashion Week is on the horizon. The annual industry event officially kicks off on Friday and will run through Sept. 13. This season’s slate of shows promises the first collection from Helmut Lang’s new creative director Peter Do, and returning fashion favorites Carolina Herrera, Michael Kors, Proenza Schouler, Tory Burch and Ralph Lauren, among others. While runway shows and major after parties are often reserved for members of the fashion industry, many brands hold activations and pop-up events open to the public, celebrating NYFW. Hey Harper Dates: Sept. 8 to Sept. 10 In honor of New York Fashion Week, Hey Harper is offering customers the chance to exchange rusty old jewelry pieces for waterproof jewelry pieces of their choice.
