Kelly Rowland Gets Playful in Colorful Checkerboard Minidress at Rowing Blazers x Target Launch Event

Kelly Rowland made a colorful statement while attending the Rowing Blazers x Target event in New York City on Wednesday, opting for a collared checkered minidress. Rowland’s outfit was from the two brands’ collaboration collection and featured purple and pink checks along with a white collar. The songstress added some playful height to her look with a pair of stark white Marc Jacobs ankle boots. Kelly Rowland Rowland is currently in New York City for New York Fashion Week, which officially begins on Friday. On Tuesday, the star wore an Ashi Studio couture dress to receive the Icon of the Year Award at Harlem’s Fashion Row Event. Dressed by celebrity stylist Kollin Carter, Rowland’s gown followed a classic silhouette, with an ivory form-fit corset and dramatic puff sleeves. The “Motivation” singer was presented the award by her husband Tim Weatherspoon. Rowland is also fresh off the “Renaissance World Tour,” where she attended Beyoncé’s Los Angeles show on Sunday wearing a custom Bent Kahina bustier and silver face jewelry.
